The exciting journey kicks off via a sightseeing tour around the ancient Valley of Kathmandu. Here, we’ll visit the four out of seven groups of time-honoured structures that illustrate the historical and cultural significance of Kathmandu Valley, a UNESCO world heritage since 1979 A.D. First, we’ll visit the most sacred Hindu Temple of Pashupatinath, devoted to the deity Lord Shiva that flaunts excellent work of art and craft. Then, we continue our tour and explore the sacred Buddhist stupas of Boudhanath and Swayambhunath. Both of the stupas features a colossal stupa structure where sits a cubical structure painted with wise eyes of Buddha representing wisdom and compassion that looks out in all four directions. At last, we bring our tour to a close via a stopover in Lalitpur Durbar Square. An archetype of classic Newari architecture, the buildings and monuments inside the complex flaunts spectacular fine arts. Afterwards, we’ll set off for Nagarkot to catch a glimpse of alluring sunrise and Himalayan panorama. We then depart for a rafting adventure in the Trishuli River after which we head for Tanahun to observe a social project. Day to Day Itinerary
While your aeroplane navigates towards Kathmandu Airport, you get the aerial glimpses of formidable mountaintops towering towards the limitless blue sky. Upon your arrival, we’ll meet each other and exchange warm greetings. Afterwards, you’ll be escorted to your hotel where you can relax and render a much-needed break to your tired body after a wearisome flight. An evening wander around the radiant Thamel Market is highly recommended so that you can get have a brief insight into the current Nepalese society.
Overnight: Kathmandu
This very day, we’ll have a pre-trip meeting after you accept our invitation and show up in our office. Thereafter, we’ll make you acquainted with your trekking guide with whom you can have a short discussion regarding your upcoming adventure. Later on, we will set out for a joyful Sightseeing Tour around Kathmandu Valley. Enlisted as UNESCO world heritage site, Kathmandu Valley is a classic. Within its vicinity, it harbours numerous exquisite monuments and antiquities which hold utmost cultural and historical significance. Right now, we’ll go around some of these pre-eminent sites. First of all, we’ll explore the holiest Hindu temple of Pashupatinath. Situated on the banks of the sacred Bagmati River, the temple complex along with the main temple itself is the exhibition of sublime Hindu construction and craftsmanship. Then, we’ll visit the sacred Buddhist Stupas of Boudhanath and Swayambhunath. These two stupas carry the prime essence of the Tibetan Buddhism and flaunt extraordinary ancient architecture, as these are few of the colossal stupas in Nepal. Lastly, we’ll check out the spectacular Patan Durbar Square. Overnight: Nagarkot
After yesterday’s marvellous outing, we head off for a gripping rafting adventure that kicks off from Charaudi. It takes about 2-3 hours (depending on traffic conditions) via a private vehicle to reach this spot where our inflatable raft waits for us. Here, we’ll make a few necessary preparations subsequent to a short safety briefing. Then, we’ll wrestle with the ferocious currents of the Trishuli River and steer our way through the scenic landscapes to Kuringhat; a small and picturesque valley where our audacious exploit ends. Beyond the shadow of a doubt, this 3 hours hair-raising feat will deliver you the adrenaline rush of your lifetime; under the guidance of an experienced rafting guide. Next, we now advance to Tanahun and behold the ongoing Social Project.
Overnight: Tanahun
At the crack of the dawn, we take a drive to Bandipur utilizing nearly 3-4 hours. It is a hilltop settlement in Tanahun District, positioned in-between Kathmandu and Pokhara. A pristine traditional Newari Town; Bandipur has its time-honoured Newari culture, traditions and heritages well preserved. Bandipur was originally a simple Magar village in the early 19th century but later developed into a renowned trading town by Newar merchants who fled Kathmandu Valley after its conquest by King Prithvi Narayan Shah. Now, Bandipur is inhabited by communities of various ethnicities and flaunts extraordinary Newari architecture i.e. reflected in houses with pagoda roofs, wooden lattice windows and carved wooden doorways. Besides the awe-inspiring town itself; the viewpoint here exhibits majestic panorama of the entire Annapurna Range along with Dhaulagiri, Manaslu and Langtang peaks as well as the Masryangdi Valley. After a joyful tour of this very town, we drive to Pokhara: the alluring city of Lakes that put to use about 2-3 hours. Overnight: Pokhara
Brace yourself for a hiking escapade on the sixth day of your adventure. We’ll take a ride to Naudanda utilizing about 1 hour. From here, we’ll initiate an enjoyable hike of nearly 3 hours, all the way to Sarangkot through alluring landscapes and classic settlements. Along the way, we can witness splendid vistas embracing the snow-covered mountains. Sarangkot (1,700m) is famous as a centre for paragliding adventure. Hence, we’ll make out to endless blue skies with the aid of light-weighted glider aircraft. Apart from adventure sport, Sarangkot is also celebrated for the magnificent sunrise and sunset outlooks. Upon arrival in Chitwan, you will be guided to your hotel where you can ease off and enjoy the facilities provided by the hotel. At evening, you can wander nearby to get acquainted with the local environment.

A full day in Chitwan renders tons of exciting activities you can take pleasure of. At first, you’ll make your way beyond dense tropical woodland via a Jungle walk with our naturalist. This walk renders you a window of opportunity to experience the true wilderness of Nepalese plains and allows you to watch exquisite species of birds. Additionally, you’ll also observe the wildlife in their natural habitat. Afterwards, you’ll explore either Gharial breeding centre or elephant stables where a senior naturalist briefs about the interesting and unbelievable habits of respective animals. In the afternoon, you may opt for a drive beyond tropical jungles in a jeep succeeded by a canoe ride down the Rapti River. This invigorating ride enables you to catch a glance of mugger crocodiles as well as the Gharial crocodiles, diverse species of water birds, otters and freshwater dolphins. Moreover, you’ll also acquire glimpses of the lifestyle of people settled nearby highways, as you traverse numerous human settlements close to the asphalted road. At Kathmandu, you may rest in your room at the hotel or wander just around the corner to stretch your tired muscles.
